In addition to the single stream items listed in the Recycling Guide, the following items are also accepted at the Chesterfield Transfer Station & Recycling Center.

Furniture

Mattresses

The mattresses you bring to the recycling center will be deconstructed into their various components (wood, fiber, metal). The following fees apply:

  • $30 mattress (any size)
  • $20 box spring (any size)

Propane Tanks

Propane tanks do not need to be empty to be dropped off. $5 fee

Tires

The following fees apply:

  • $11 (tires up to 15")
  • $20 (tires 16" to 20")
  • $25 (truck tires 20"+)
  • $1 (wheel barrow / bike tire)
  • $55 (off-road equipment tire)

Roofing Shingles

$60/cubic yard
